Kate Middleton Re-wore a Glamorous Green Gown for Date Night with Prince William
The Duchess of Cambridge went full glam for her latest royal engagement.
On Thursday night, Kate and Prince William attended the Royal Variety Performance held at London’s Royal Albert Hall. This year’s Royal Variety Performance officially marks 100 years of patronage from the reigning monarch, beginning from King George V in 1921 to Queen Elizabeth II today.
For the occasion, the duchess continued her trend of showstopping red-carpet looks with a sparkling emerald column gown by Jenny Packham, a London-based designer favored by the royal. For accessories, she carried a glittery green clutch and wore gold fan-shaped earrings. Her loose curls were swept over her shoulder.
Meanwhile, the Duke of Cambridge wore a classic black-and-white velvet tuxedo and bow tie for the televised event.
Duchess Kate appears to be wearing the same green gown that she wore during her 2019 royal tour of Pakistan. At the time, she and William attended a formal reception hosted by the British High Commissioner in Pakistan, Thomas Drew, at the Pakistan Monument in capital city Islamabad.
Last week, the royal attended a Remembrance Day service in London, where she joined her mother-in-law, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, on a balcony overlooking The Cenotaph at the National Service of Remembrance.
For the somber event, Kate re-wore another existing piece in her wardrobe: a military-style Alexander McQueen coat, featuring a white collar and red detailing, which she previously wore to the 2018 Remembrance Day ceremony.
