    he Virginia guv’s race has actually tightened. Democrat Terry McAuliffe, seeking a return to the workplace he held from 2013 to 2017, has only a 1.8 percentage-point lead in the RealClearPolitics average of all surveys. As a quasi-incumbent, the truth that he hasn’t completed above 50 percent in any survey so far provides Republican Glenn Youngkin real hope that the majority of citizens do not want the slick, former Clinton charity event back for an encore.
