Zendaya Takes Business Casual to the Next Level With a Midriff-Baring Twist—See Pics

Though September has only just begun, Zendaya has already taught several lessons in transitional dressing. Her latest look, however, is for the office girlies.

On September 3, the Euphoria star was photographed shopping in New York City with her longtime stylist Law Roach, wearing pair of low-rise straight-leg jeans, a striped button-down, and a tailored blazer with sharp metal details on the collar. Her hair was pulled back in an effortless ponytail and the actor topped the look off with a pair of black booties and obligatory black sunglasses.

The only aspect of the ensemble that’s not office-friendly is Zendaya’s midriff-baring dress shirt, but all you Manhattan marketing execs would have to do is button up before stepping into your cubicle. Midtown offices always pump the A.C. up to freezing, anyway.

Just a couple of days earlier, Zendaya wore a similar pair of low-rise jeans while celebrating her 26th birthday with her boyfriend and Spider-Man costar Tom Holland. The pair were photographed outside the restaurant MAMO wearing semi-coordinated ensembles: Holland wore a blue plaid flannel with turquoise corduroy pants while Zendaya paired her jeans with a cropped navy cardigan and gold jewelry. For the night on the town, she traded in her booties for a pair of stilettos. You can see those pics here.

“I get to spend the day responding to the most beautiful messages (sorry I’m a little late),” Zendaya wrote on Instagram on September 2, alongside an adorable throwback photo. “Thank ya’ll for filling my heart with so much love, I couldn’t be more grateful 💕 Here’s to 26!”
